Connectivism

MindMap

This week was interesting in looking into connections and networking in learning. I have been fortunate enough to work for a learning company. We have a multiple ways to learn and network. In my organization, we have focus groups that open learning to us all to expand our repertoire. I am the lead for the E-Learning focus groups which sets the standards for everything that is loaded into our LMS.

One of the most robust networks I have been a part of is ATD (Association of Talent Development) This is a great group for trainers and instructional designers to stay up-to-date on the latest and greatest learning standards.

I don’t think I would have advanced in my career had I not been a part of the company I work for, ATD, LinkedIn, or any of the networking I have been a part of. I feel that we as humans should learn as long as our minds allow us to. I am so excited to be part of this learning community of Walden University.
